The author says that it is so easy to doubt oneself after a break-up, but remember the one who would be worthy of you would never leave you alone and love you as you are.
When you were not loved back by that one person, you became a bit or may be a lot insecure. You tried to figure out where you went wrong. Did you love him less or did you expect more? You gave up your happiness for his smile in the hope that one day, he will realize your worth. But he didn’t and he won’t, ever!
You know what you can do? You can love people, make them feel special and stand with them through their thick and thin though you always get junked and dejected. Let me tell you one thing -You might get disappointed and feel worthless but this is not who you are. You are a strong-willed but compassionate woman.
Remember, whenever you face a heartbreak, you are one step closer to your soul mate – he who will understand you, who will make you laugh and will cry with you, who will let you be yourself, who will make YOU his world. In short, he will be your perfect man or your prince charming. Just wait for that guy, dear, who would never let you sleep crying.
What if you were not loved back by one person? What if your love seemed useless to him? What if you wasted some precious time for them? Nothing goes in vain. Now you know how to love that person-the right person for you. You learned to make choices, to give more and expect less and to stand up again and walk with your head held high. You lost that person who didn’t love you but he has lost you- who loved him with all her heart.

UP Boards Topper Prachi Nigam was trolled on social media for her facial hair; our obsession with appearance is harsh on young minds.
Prachi Nigam’s photo has been doing the rounds on social media for the right reasons. Well, scratch that- I wish the above statement were true. This 15-year-old girl should ideally be revelling in her spectacular achievement of scoring a whopping 98.05% and topping her tenth-grade boards. But oddly enough, along with her marks, it’s something else that garners more attention – her facial hair.
While the trolls are driving themselves giddy by mocking this girl who hasn’t even completed her school yet, the ones who are taking her side are going one step ahead – they are sharing her photoshopped pictures, sans the facial hair, looking nothing less than a celebrity with captions saying – “Prachi Nigam, ten years later”.
Doctors have already diagnosed her with PCOD in their comments, based on photographic evidence. While we have names for people shamed for their weight – body shaming, for their skin colour- racism, for their age- age shaming, for being a female- sexism, this category of shaming where one faces criticism for their appearance has no name. With that, it also has zero shame attached to it.
