Vulnerable [Poem]

Gender stereotypes affect men too. Here’s a poignant poem that tells you how.

Father said,
Don’t be vulnerable ever,
Women like it strong.

Mother stayed silent.

Twenty years later,
While finally agreeing to see a counselor,
He tells his friend,
“I don’t know why,
All women just tell me,
‘I am incapable of being human.’

Last night my sixth girlfriend left me”.
