#Poetry. Life can be different things for different people, but so much of it can be in our hands – let’s make the most of it.
Let’s share it with people that we care about. Let’s flip through the pages of each day And revel in the sunshine of today.
Let’s understand the language of love & living Let’s try and be a little more giving. Let’s read each para with a deeper commitment And enjoy the feeling of contentment.
Let imagination run riot with each page Let’s bond in relationships in this age Let the creative flow from each word Help us don wings and fly like a bird.
Let’s share the joy of holding on Even long after, we all are gone. Let’s leave behind a word, a kind of mark To one-day help others see in the dark.
Life is a story, let’s read it out aloud, Let’s share it with people that we care about
Life is an experience, lets learn from it Let’s ponder on it for a moment whilst we sit Let’s treat life as continuous self-discovery Let’s not be bogged down by mockery.
Let’s take each day as a challenge Let’s learn to also accept failure and change. Let’s work hard and toil for success Let in life there be, no recess.
Let’s learn from stories, be it anecdotes Let’s take council from what others wrote Let’s strive in life for fulfillment And live our life with good intent..
Life is an experience, lets learn from it Lets ponder on it for a moment whilst we sit
Life is a journey, lets embark on a quest Let’s traverse the path with all the rest. Let’s leave behind our footprints, on pristine land Let’s weave some magic with a wand.
Let’s take each day as a new calling Let’s not encounter anything that is appalling Let’s take every day as learning Let’s look at life with renewed yearning.
Let not opportunities pass us by In pain or in sorrow let us not cry Let’s travel far and wide to newer lands, Let’s build our destiny with our own hands.
Life is a journey, let’s embark on a quest Let’s traverse the path with all the rest.

UP Boards Topper Prachi Nigam was trolled on social media for her facial hair; our obsession with appearance is harsh on young minds.
Prachi Nigam’s photo has been doing the rounds on social media for the right reasons. Well, scratch that- I wish the above statement were true. This 15-year-old girl should ideally be revelling in her spectacular achievement of scoring a whopping 98.05% and topping her tenth-grade boards. But oddly enough, along with her marks, it’s something else that garners more attention – her facial hair.
While the trolls are driving themselves giddy by mocking this girl who hasn’t even completed her school yet, the ones who are taking her side are going one step ahead – they are sharing her photoshopped pictures, sans the facial hair, looking nothing less than a celebrity with captions saying – “Prachi Nigam, ten years later”.
Doctors have already diagnosed her with PCOD in their comments, based on photographic evidence. While we have names for people shamed for their weight – body shaming, for their skin colour- racism, for their age- age shaming, for being a female- sexism, this category of shaming where one faces criticism for their appearance has no name. With that, it also has zero shame attached to it.
