Who says women don’t dig tech? From being a planner, organizer to entertainer, tablets are the ‘handy helpers’ we just can’t do without.
Men love their machines, whether lean or mean…and so do women of this age. All of us can appreciate the difference that these gadgets are making in our life. From the fitness bands, MP3 players, sound bars/amplifiers, smartphones, tablets to the numerous kitchen gadgets to help, each of these have helped make our jobs easier.
As a woman, one goes through many life stages (and each of these pose as a challenge for us) I aim at taking total control of the situation as early as possible. Don’t we all have this innate desire to ‘settle’ quickly and get organized? Well…blame it on the constitution of our brains, which craves stability and wants to get over chaos!
So, whether you are a student, intern, employee, work-from-home-mom or stay-at-home-mom, you are sure to be dealing with the challenge of smoothening out the chaos in your life.
Your answer lies in getting yourself a gadget that really frees a lot of your mind space and offloads your work on itself.
I tested out the new Asus ZenPad 8.0 (Z380KL), and here is what I found:
Android devices have an easy interface and the Android 5.0 Lollipop version is even simpler to use. Moreover, the powerful Qualcomm Octa-core processor lets you multitask as you switch from a browser to a game or check your messages on Whatsapp.
Apart from these basic uses, you can also update the planner and set alerts on this tablet so that you do not miss out on any important activity of the day. It has a long lasting battery life that ensures that you do not miss out on any important event since you were not alerted about it on time.
It more or less doubles up as your travel companion. A unique feature of this tablet is that it has a 76.5% screen-to-body ratio which means that the screen takes over most of the space on the surface of the phone.
In other words, your movie/video viewing experience, video chatting and flicking through pictures would be super awesome. Add to this Tru2Life feature for images and superior audio features (like surround sound and Sonic Master technology) and you know your life is sorted!
If a gadget is extremely useful and looks good too, it becomes your very own style statement. Well, this cute little tablet has an 8-inch screen and is all of 350 grams. It has these interchangeable cases that you could team up with your attire or even your mood!
Coming to the quintessential question that most people ask…Why should I go in for a tablet if I have a smartphone? Well, here is your answer:

UP Boards Topper Prachi Nigam was trolled on social media for her facial hair; our obsession with appearance is harsh on young minds.
Prachi Nigam’s photo has been doing the rounds on social media for the right reasons. Well, scratch that- I wish the above statement were true. This 15-year-old girl should ideally be revelling in her spectacular achievement of scoring a whopping 98.05% and topping her tenth-grade boards. But oddly enough, along with her marks, it’s something else that garners more attention – her facial hair.
While the trolls are driving themselves giddy by mocking this girl who hasn’t even completed her school yet, the ones who are taking her side are going one step ahead – they are sharing her photoshopped pictures, sans the facial hair, looking nothing less than a celebrity with captions saying – “Prachi Nigam, ten years later”.
Doctors have already diagnosed her with PCOD in their comments, based on photographic evidence. While we have names for people shamed for their weight – body shaming, for their skin colour- racism, for their age- age shaming, for being a female- sexism, this category of shaming where one faces criticism for their appearance has no name. With that, it also has zero shame attached to it.
