I am a student, pursuing a masters degree in Development Communication at the AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia. I am an author, content creator and Disability Rights Activist. I have written extensively for various anthologies, websites, e-blogs, magazines and social media platforms. I create content on my Instagram handle to create awareness about people with disabilities, and have a personal blog as well. As a person with disability, I believe that for inclusion to be a reality in all spheres of life, it is important that our voices are heard and our issues acknowledged, as opposed to telling an entire set of people that their impairment is the issue and not the systematic marginalization of an entire community.
