Pritika Singh is an award-winning and game-changer leader in the Indian healthcare sector. She became the CEO of Prayag Hospital at the age of 23. Under her leadership, Prayag hospital expanded and opened two more locations.
Her business interests vary across many fields, from healthcare business, beauty, mental health, yoga, meditation and the pharma industry. She is actively pursuing women’s rights and philosophy. She has worked towards women’s empowerment and other women-centric issues.
Furthermore, she has also organized free camps yearly for acid attack victims and undertakes around 100 surgeries at nominal costs to help better the lives of the survivors.
Her vision is to get the youth into the healthcare industry as it is a noble industry, and she feels healthcare is the industry where you can support your society with your professional skills.
Let’s find out how her journey began and what are Pritika Singh’s future goals!
As I started my journey in the healthcare industry, I faced the challenge of transitioning from a colleague to a leader when I became the CEO of Prayag Hospital. Gaining acceptance and respect was not easy, but as I demonstrated my vision and completed successful projects, the team started accepting me as their boss.
I also initiated a rebranding effort to strengthen the hospital’s identity, aligning with my goal of improving healthcare services and increasing awareness. Balancing business objectives with my vision for positive impact was another challenge, but with determination and effective communication, I was able to lead the hospital towards our shared goal.
As a young CEO in the male-dominated healthcare sector, I prioritized staff training and development to address the shortage of healthcare professionals. Then implemented a complimentary ward system at Prayag Hospital to offer free-of-cost healthcare services to Below Poverty Line patients and only charging for medications.
Additionally, we established holistic healing centres to raise awareness about preventive healthcare measures. To improve accessibility, we educated patients about government healthcare schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, and Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana.
My involvement in women’s empowerment and organizing free camps for acid attack victims has been profoundly moving. It strengthened my commitment to integrate women’s rights within healthcare and provided specialized support for female staff and patients.
Witnessing the struggles of acid attack survivors inspired me to stand for them and offer medical attention, counselling, and a safe space for healing. These camps empower survivors to overcome trauma, foster resilience, and reintegrate into society, making a tangible difference in their lives.
We firmly believe that the hospital sector not only brings financial prosperity but also serves the community’s welfare. With our expanded facilities, we aim to cater to a larger patient base, offering specialized medical care that necessitates recruiting additional doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff.
To attract young professionals and encourage them to join this noble field, we have designed a comprehensive approach. We will invest in robust training and development programs, equipping them with necessary skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Certainly, the challenges brought about by the pandemic have underscored the crucial role of mental health. Holistic approaches like yoga and meditation offer valuable tools in addressing these issues.
These practices emphasize a mind-body connection that can help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. Yoga combines physical movement with mindfulness, promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being.
Meditation cultivates self-awareness and trains the mind to manage negative thoughts and emotions. By fostering inner balance and resilience, these approaches contribute significantly to enhancing mental health in an increasingly complex world.
Prayag Hospital aims to go global by establishing fully equipped clinics in Dubai and Uzbekistan. After a trial period, we’ll refine our services and expand to other countries, adapting to their unique healthcare needs and regulations.
Leveraging technology, we’ll ensure seamless collaboration between our international clinics and India headquarters.
Strong partnerships with local healthcare organizations and governments will enable us to provide comprehensive and sustainable solutions. With a patient-centric approach, innovation, and continuous improvement, Prayag Hospital is determined to make a positive impact on the global healthcare industry and improve lives worldwide.
The healthcare industry is undergoing a dynamic shift due to rapid technological advancements. As the sector grows, embracing innovative technologies such as AI, IoT, and robotics offers the potential to revolutionize patient care and diagnosis.
This transformation also places emphasis on preventive healthcare, promoting wellness and reducing the burden on the system.
However, alongside these opportunities, data security remains a crucial challenge. Safeguarding sensitive patient information in an increasingly digital landscape is imperative to maintain trust and compliance with privacy regulations.
By establishing hospitals in the Uttarakhand and UP West regions, our goal is to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility for the communities residing there. Our vision involves bringing advanced medical facilities and a team of expert healthcare professionals right to the doorstep of these areas.
Guided by our motto “Seva Parmo Dharma,” we are committed to collaborating closely with the respective governments to provide healthcare services to all the patients. These strategic partnerships will ensure that individuals in need can access high-quality medical care and necessary treatments.
To all the young women and girls aspiring to excel in their chosen fields, particularly within male-dominated industries, I would advise them to prioritize their personal growth by actively seeking knowledge, education, and diverse experiences.
This will equip you with the skills needed to thrive in any environment and continually evolve into the best version of yourself. Also, it is important to embrace your uniqueness and have unwavering belief in your abilities.
Your distinct perspective and talents are valuable assets that can set you apart. Amidst your endeavours, remember to prioritize your well-being. Taking care of your physical, emotional, and mental health is vital for sustained success.
With the introduction of thought medicine and alternative healing therapies, we aim to address not only physical ailments but also mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
By combining conventional medical treatments with thought medicine and alternative therapies, we anticipate a significant reduction in stress, anxiety, and related conditions.
This, in turn, can lead to improved treatment outcomes and faster recovery times. In the long run, through thought medicine and alternative healing therapies, we are committed to providing comprehensive care that not only treats the body but also nurtures the mind and soul, ultimately fostering a healthier and more resilient society.

If you are a beginner or an expert, it is always a good time to brush up on your skills. If you are a woman returning to work, or a young woman starting out, it is always advisable to utilise every resource you get and learn tips to make your life easier.
Here are some pointers to make your next presentation stand out.
I've routinely oiled, shampooed, and got a spa for my hair. Yet, my hair-fall problem didn't stop! How did I fix my hair-fall concern? I switched to Traya.
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved playing with dolls–my favourite task was to comb their silky smooth hair with the little plastic comb that came with the doll’s box set. I would squat in the garden beside the marigold bushes and spend hours playing with the synthetic hair, all in an attempt to replicate the care my grandfather showered on me.
My grandfather would religiously sit with me every Sunday, and oil my hair with warm coconut oil. No one better than him knew the pain of having thin wavy hair that tangled up like cobwebs. Caring for his grandkid’s hair was his way of showing love and teaching me how to groom myself.
I’ve inherited the Sunday morning hair oiling ritual and the wonderfully unpredictable, wavy hair from my grandfather. I affectionately refer to it as hair with a mind of its own, as there hasn’t been a day when my hair hasn’t been a bit temperamental. On a rainy day, it is greasy, on a hot day itchy, on a cold winter morning frizzy! When I need it to stay straight, it dances like a flag in the wind and when I want the messy look, my hair mimics soaked wool!
