Embracing the Journey of Self-Love: A Guide for Women!!
Someone rightly said, ‘You can’t truly love others until you love yourself,’ and I second that. The same holds a lot of truth for women as well. Even in today’s society, it is not uncommon for women to put their dreams on hold in order to prioritize family obligations. The belief that sacrificing personal aspirations will lead to family happiness can often overshadow the importance of pursuing our own passions and desires. However, it is crucial to remember that personal fulfilment and overall well-being are equally important for women as they are for anyone else.
Sacrificing dreams in the name of family may seem like a noble act, but it can often lead to feelings of regret and unfulfilled potential. By neglecting our own aspirations, we risk losing a sense of self-identity and purpose. Self-love is a transformative and empowering journey that every woman deserves to embark on. It is about recognizing one’s worthiness of love and care – a notion that extends beyond oneself to positively impact others’ lives as well.
This blog aims to inspire and guide women on their path toward embracing self-love, accepting themselves wholly, and living authentically.
Embracing self-love is a lifelong journey that requires patience, practice, and self-compassion. By prioritizing your well-being, embracing your authenticity, and nurturing a positive relationship with yourself, you can cultivate a deep sense of self-love and live a more fulfilling and empowered life as a woman. Remember, you are worthy of love and deserve to embrace yourself completely, just as you are.

UP Boards Topper Prachi Nigam was trolled on social media for her facial hair; our obsession with appearance is harsh on young minds.
Prachi Nigam’s photo has been doing the rounds on social media for the right reasons. Well, scratch that- I wish the above statement were true. This 15-year-old girl should ideally be revelling in her spectacular achievement of scoring a whopping 98.05% and topping her tenth-grade boards. But oddly enough, along with her marks, it’s something else that garners more attention – her facial hair.
While the trolls are driving themselves giddy by mocking this girl who hasn’t even completed her school yet, the ones who are taking her side are going one step ahead – they are sharing her photoshopped pictures, sans the facial hair, looking nothing less than a celebrity with captions saying – “Prachi Nigam, ten years later”.
Doctors have already diagnosed her with PCOD in their comments, based on photographic evidence. While we have names for people shamed for their weight – body shaming, for their skin colour- racism, for their age- age shaming, for being a female- sexism, this category of shaming where one faces criticism for their appearance has no name. With that, it also has zero shame attached to it.
