Anupama writes a letter to her 18-year old daughter. Read what she has to say.
I watch myself rise, I watch myself fall
through a distance, I stand and I see it all
I have this shield of solitude around me
I have my goals to surround me
When I feel really empty somewhere deep inside
I let that feeling soak-in and untied
I experience peace when I am alone
As I feel connected to my inner soul
All my fears are bygones,
I have raised my style and my tone
I seek refuge in my words
I craft stories, which are unheard
I find solace in my work and I hold my dreams more tight more closely
I am alone but not lonely
