The college offers a 2 year Diploma in Physical Education, as well as further degree options post your bachelor’s such as Bachelor of Mobility Science, Bachelor of Physical Education, Master’s in Physical Education, M.Sc in Fitness, Exercise Rehabilitation and Nutritional Care, M.Phil and even a Ph.D in Physical Education!

— Other colleges such as Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Thiruvananthapuram, Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, New Delhi, Amity School of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Noida, BPCA’s College of Physical Education, Mumbai, Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior, all offer bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physical education. The main features of all these courses are the hands-on nature of instruction and the compulsive practical sessions.

What are the costs involved?

Compared to the tech colleges, the fee structure in these colleges is much more purse-friendly. For the starter level Bachelor’s in Physical Education and Sports Science at Chennai’s YMCA, the tuition fee is Rs 21,460 for the first year. Other colleges too, seem to follow the same fee scale of approximately Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per year.
