Kapil Arora is a communications graduate from MICA, Ahmedabad. He started his advertising career with Enterprise Nexus (now Bates) in Mumbai and joined Ogilvy in 2000. He has been with the agency for over 15 years now. For a short span, he also worked in the field of business consulting before returning to his first love – advertising.
Over his career, Kapil has worked across a host of brands and categories – including Unilever (beverages), Raymond (textiles), Titan (watches), TVS (two wheelers), Bennett Coleman (media house), Sasken (telecom solutions provider), BMW (automobiles), KFC (QSR), Sprite (CSDs), Dabur (FMCG), Hutch (telecom) and Vodafone. This work has been both creative and effective, winning multiple accolades across the Abbys, Spikes, Cannes, Effies, Emvies and AME. More importantly, it’s entrenched itself in consumers’ hearts. Some of the more popular campaigns amongst those being the Titan ‘Whats your style’ Aamir campaign, the Hutch Rangashankara theatre campaign, the Vodafone India launch, Happy to Help, Blackberry Boys and the Zoozoos.
