A poem inspired by the angst over the #BangaloreMolestation incident. It might seem a very dark time for feminism, but all is not lost!

Glitter and glamour
Music and lights

Tomorrow promises
many delights

The year of PINK
Women celebrate

Change will finally
walk through the gate

Change suffocates,
chokes the patriarch

His groping hands despair
to preserve the dark

He won this time
He will again

But the fight
is not in vain

is an ocean

Destroying patriarchy
through erosion

No single fight
makes a visible dent

But over time
progress is evident
