Why register with Women’s Web?

Anyone can read our content. For comments though, we have recently moved to a new system, where, if you’d like to comment, you need to register – either using the Women’s Web registration or with your Facebook identity. As a registered user, you can comment on any number of posts without needing to go through word verification – and this also allows our small team to free themselves from having to moderate a growing number of comments, including spam. We also have an interesting newsletter for registered users (and every issue carries a clearly marked ‘unsubscribe’ option should you choose not to receive it).

Communities are built around constructive discussions. Think how confusing it is when ten different “anonymous” commentors leave their opinions on a topic. Of course, we recognise that you may not choose to use your “real name” for many reasons – in that case, choose any username that suits you and get started!
