Who doesn’t like a dessert at the end of a wholesome meal, especially during the festive season? When people get together or host parties, it is very often an exceptional occasion and all these occasions demand good, delicious food along with tasty desserts.

Here are a few quick desserts that you could try out in order to make your guests contented.

Caramel Bread Pudding

A mouth-watering pudding with bread slices and caramel is one of my favourites among quick desserts. It is easy to make because the ingredients are readily available.

The best part about this recipe is that the making of it does not require an oven. It is steamed, and the end result is definitely wonderful. So, buy those ingredients and try this out!

Quick Microwave Chocolate Pudding

For all the chocolate lovers out there, this is one of the easiest quick desserts that you could make for your guests. A thick, velvety and succulent chocolate pudding is definitely going to make your guests feel blissful. If you have a microwave and the essential components, this recipe would only need fifteen minutes to be prepared. What more do you need?

Virgin Pina Colada

Pineapple and coconut milk are the two main ingredients that you require to make a Virgin Pina Colada. This is a non-alcoholic drink which, apart from being a recipe that can be effortlessly prepared, can also be refreshing. This can be served to your guests, in the beginning of the party, to start off the desert spree. This smooth drink is worth a try making for its delicious taste too and it is better than serving coke, any day. Check out this recipe.

Yogurt Panna Cota with Saffron and Honey Syrup

As a kid, I would go have food because my mother would serve yogurt as a side dish. Till date, I would follow that same eating pattern: food with yogurt. But, sometimes, I would experiment with yogurt to bring about various flavours. I had come across this recipe and it was just amazing. One spoonful of this dish will surprise with a dash of sweetness of honey with a tangy taste of the yogurt. You are free to add nuts or fruits to make the dish look colourful and tasty.

Milk Peda

A traditional Indian sweet, milk peda is something that people normally go to the sweets shop to purchase it. But, what if I told you that you could make it in your house? I promise you everyone will love its lip-smacking flavour. This is one of those quick desserts that is a must at any get together or party.

Chickoo Ice-cream

This recipe is healthy because it does not use any form of artificial flavour. A party without ice-cream is no party at all. Then, why not make it at home without having to purchase it from a shop? Chickoo is a hale and hearty fruit and with its sweetness, it is mostly going to add on to the sweetness of the ice cream which makes it flavoursome. Why don’t you give it a try?

Lemon Bars

I have always been fascinated by the whole idea of using lemons to make sweets considering its tangy and strong flavour. But, in reality, the mixture of sugar and lemon keeps everyone’s taste buds craving for more. There is no baking or freezing involved the making of this, which makes it an interesting one among quick desserts.

Paal Payasam

Payasam is a South Indian sweet dish which has this creamy texture and is made with rice. This can be made so rapidly that you won’t have to keep your guests waiting for food. Rice and milk are the two main ingredients required and the best part is that these elements will be accessible within your own kitchen. Its sweet flavour will keep your guests satisfied.

Kaju Ki Barfi

This is one of my personal favourites as I have always loved its taste and the shiny top layer on it. In India, wherever and whichever party you attend, this dessert is likely to be there. Made with cashew nuts, this sweet dish can be served as a quick dessert.

Kulfi

Anyone who has lived or been to the Northern part of India must have tasted Kulfi. It is the Indian version of an ice-cream. This frozen dessert is very easy to prepare and tastes amazing.
