All you need to get started as a contributor at Women’s Web.

I’ve applied to become an author but haven’t yet heard back from Women’s Web
All contributor applications usually receive a response within 2-3 working days. If you haven’t heard back from us, it usually means you have not validated the email address that you applied from. First confirm if you have validated your email address. If you haven’t done this, check your inbox (including your spam folder) for a validation email from us, and click on the link there to validate your address first.

For contributors

I’ve contributed a post using the author dashboard but it shows as “pending”
Most submitted posts are reviewed within 10 days of submission. However, at times, there may be an unusually large number of posts from authors, due to which posts are queued over a longer time. Rest assured, an editor will either schedule your post or get back to you if there are any issues with your post.

I’ve contributed a post using the author dashboard and it shows me a “calendared” status
This means that your post has been approved of and has been slotted into our calendar, to be edited and formatted for publishing in its turn. Once calendared, it will certainly be published, but this can take from 10-20 days, depending upon the rest of the calendar.
