The Government of India targets to build a 5 trillion GDP by 2025. Given the growth rate of the GDP, this target is not possible if women do not participate in the economy, and if female human resources are not used in the wealth-generation process.

It never occurred to me that I was taking in more in my plate than I can afford to —every morning I had to decide the week's menu, getting groceries, cooking three times a day, doing schoolwork, pick and drop from school if and when required! And doing laundry, doing dishes, taking my child to play dates and more!

I completely agree that working mothers do not have it easy, but that doesn't mean stay-at-home mothers are living a care-free, easy life. We have our own battles to be taken care of on a daily basis.

Mothers should never feel guilty about taking afternoon naps. Once back into her house, motherhood duties took over and wouldn’t let go of her until lunch was all done, leaving everyone else pleasantly full and her, heavy and groggy.
