Hello beautiful ladies out there ! All of you want to look our best, a part of our lives has always been revolving round the many ways to look beautiful. Presenting a small snippet, an experience I hope many of you can relate with…waiting to hear more from each of you …
Couple of months gone by and my beauty seems to dip a shade;
A glance in the mirror is no more making me smile I’m afraid
Wind, dust and lack of pampering has made my skin dim;
Family and work have kept me occupied until the brim
Finally one day, I muster the courage to say- Come on!
It’s time to get pampered and knock the doors of my salon.
Greeted with smile so warm and fragrance to enthrall;
Enticed with a service list from head to toe that had it all
Hair spas , pedicure , manicure, highlights & streaks;
Keratin , straightening, detan, root touch up and what not oh freaks!
Facial is all I want this day to relax I decide
A gown and headband was in no time placed by my side.
Sinking in heavenly glory as my face was massaged and rubbed
I could feel the dead cells flee as my face was being scrubbed;
With perfumed creams and strokes so soothing on my face
Time stood still as my nerves felt relaxed in this space;
Only then did I realize that I had gone to into a slumber
Thanks to the pack on my face that rested as cool as cucumber.
Finally done, I get up feeling fresh with skin so radiant
Admiring thyself knowing this glow is but transient ;
Handed to me now is a towel to give my face a final wipe
The quirky girl convinces me hard to take a beauty package in a swipe;
“ Hair is dry, roots have splits your true beauty I’ll help you find”
“ Call when there’s a discount” my number I leave behind.
Finally.. Its late and as two hours have flown
Missed calls from home as I see on my phone;
No doubt I love my supple skin – now so fresh and new
But I’m also the woman of today , life with confidence I pursue;
The essence of true beauty is not in a facial mode
True charm of a lady is reflected in her beautiful soul !

If her MIL had accepted her with some affection, wouldn't they have built a mutually happier relationship by now?
The incident took place ten years ago.
Smita could visit her mother only in summers when her daughter had school holidays. Her daughter also enjoyed meeting her Nani, and both of them had done their reservations for a week. A month before their visit, her husband told her, “My mom is coming for 4-5 months!”
Smita shuddered. She knew the repercussions. She would have to hear sarcastic comments from her mother-in-law for visiting her mother. She may make these comments directly only a bit, but her servants would be flooded with the words, “How horrible she is! She leaves me and goes!”
Maybe Animal is going to make Ranbir the superstar he yearns to be, but is this the kind of legacy his grandfather and granduncles would wish for?
I have no intention of watching Animal. I have heard it’s acting like a small baby screaming and yelling for attention. However, I read some interesting reviews which gave away the original, brilliant and awe-inspiring plot (was that sarcastic enough?), and I don’t really need to go watch it to have an informed opinion.
A little boy craves for his father’s love but doesn’t get it so uses it as an excuse to kill a whole bunch of people when he grows up. Poor paapa (baby) what else could he do?
I was wondering; if any woman director gets inspired by this movie and replicates this with a female protagonist, what would happen?. Oh wait, that’s the story of so many women in this world. Forget about not giving them love, you have fathers who try to kill their daughters or sell them off or do other equally despicable things.
