Try out this drumstick leaves poha that can give a nutritious punch to your early morning breakfast. Simple and easy to make.

Ingredients for drumstick leaves poha

Drumstick leaves – 1 cup

Rice flakes – 1.5 cup

onion (small) – 5-6 no:s

urad dal -1/2tsp

dry chilli – 3-4 no:s

turmeric powder -1/4 tsp

mustard – 1/4 tsp

grated coconut – 1/4 cup

Preparation and cooking

Wash well drumstick leaves.

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds.

When they splutter, add urad dal, dry chilli and chopped onions. Sauté till they become brown in colour.

Now add drumstick leaves, turmeric powder, and salt.

Cover and cook till drumstick leaves are done.

Then add rice flakes which are washed in water and strained. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Add grated coconut.

Mix all the ingredients together well. Add salt if necessary.

Delicious drumstick leaves poha is ready.
