Sheila Kumar

Sheila Kumar is an author, journalist and books editor. She worked for the Times of India Group in Bangalore, Delhi, at The Delhi Times, and at Femina for over a dozen years before turning freelance. Now she writes for a clutch of newspapers and magazines, on a wide range of topics. Her travel pieces appear regularly in the Sunday magazine sections of various newspapers. She reviews books every month for a couple of national newspapers. Three of her short stories have appeared in three books; she has also contributed stories to several Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Sheila’s first book, a collection of short stories titled Kith and Kin was released to very good reviews.
