Reading and writing are my first and second loves. From the time, my mother used to buy me a book/comic to read every month when i was a child, to me reading out aloud to my grandmother, I’ve always turned to books for an escape. They created my fantasy world, where I could take part in the story an author wove. Today, when professional and personal work takes precedence, reading has become a guilty pleasure; but, as they say, you will always find time for what/who is dear. I am a Marketing Communications specialist by profession. I began my career as a teacher in Singapore and then moved on to writing elevator pitches and editing and then to managing marketing campaigns, content, events, media relations, and so on. I tackle and accept my flaws with the help of Yoga, a self-regulatory part of my life, and an energizer. My cherished childhood memories are of my dearest grandparents and the quiet residential part of Bangalore that I grew up in. Something that I’ve always wanted to do all my life is to get a chic hairstyle--and failed. My favorite line from a movie is pronounced with wicked style by Jim Carrey in Batman, “Your entrance was good, his was better”, summarizing a fondness for the Gotham’s hero and villains.
