Did the Princy Harry and Meghan Markle wedding make you feel nostalgic? Well, you can always close your eyes and relive your own happiest moment!
Mmmmmm So this is love, So this is love So this is what makes life divine I’m all aglow, Mmmmmm And now I know The key to all heaven is mine My heart has wings, Mmmmmm And I can fly I’ll touch ev’ry star in the sky So this is the miracle that I’ve been dreaming of Mmmmmm Mmmmmm So this is love – Cindrella
I have been humming this song since yesterday. So many weddings this year, or to be precise since last December, have made me all mushy. Virat and Anushka, Sonam and Anand and the icing on the cake was the wedding of Harry and Megan.
Once in a while, in the middle of ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale – Unknown Author
Most women, working, stay at home, married, unmarried, young, middle aged, whatever be the status, would have been affected in one way or the other after they saw these weddings because you cannot avoid watching them, the videos are everywhere.
Everything about these weddings was so beautiful. The trousseau, the place, the décor everything was so exquisite. The pre wedding ceremonies and the post wedding parties were all so well planned.
Nowadays most weddings are planned very meticulously. The photographers/videographers capture all the rituals beautifully in all angles, sometimes I wonder whether that was also planned. When you have been married for quite sometime and you are busy with everything else in life , these weddings make you pause and believe in fairy tales. Some of you might have gone back to your wedding day. Some of you might have thought that how different it was in your times. Some of you may regret certain things which you did or didn’t do. Some of you must be thinking how nice it would be if you could get married again.
There is one thing we can all do , we can just hold our partners hand and say the vows again. We may not have the decor , the dress, the audience but we have each other. Close your eyes and just relive the most happiest moment of your life and you would exactly feel like how Cinderella felt when she found her prince!

UP Boards Topper Prachi Nigam was trolled on social media for her facial hair; our obsession with appearance is harsh on young minds.
Prachi Nigam’s photo has been doing the rounds on social media for the right reasons. Well, scratch that- I wish the above statement were true. This 15-year-old girl should ideally be revelling in her spectacular achievement of scoring a whopping 98.05% and topping her tenth-grade boards. But oddly enough, along with her marks, it’s something else that garners more attention – her facial hair.
While the trolls are driving themselves giddy by mocking this girl who hasn’t even completed her school yet, the ones who are taking her side are going one step ahead – they are sharing her photoshopped pictures, sans the facial hair, looking nothing less than a celebrity with captions saying – “Prachi Nigam, ten years later”.
Doctors have already diagnosed her with PCOD in their comments, based on photographic evidence. While we have names for people shamed for their weight – body shaming, for their skin colour- racism, for their age- age shaming, for being a female- sexism, this category of shaming where one faces criticism for their appearance has no name. With that, it also has zero shame attached to it.
