Every year, at the end of December, we start making a list to be fulfilled in the upcoming year. This month, let’s attempt something different as compared to the previous years.
Build a new vision and construct a purpose for your precious life. Focus on that one thing and bring a revolutionary change. It is therefore important to plan for a revolution and not insubstantial resolutions !
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” —Mark Twain.
‘Knowledge is Wealth’ is a well-known quote, isn’t it? However, there is a huge difference between knowing and applying! Information is the greatest asset one can possess. Keep learning and upgrading yourself. It is possible to make a fortune out of the knowledge you retain. Start investing in self development books, watch videos that have immense learnings about your field, listen to the podcasts of successful entrepreneurs , attend educational conferences, seminars and workshops.
An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.
Remember, 365 Days = 365 Learnings . This can be in the form of your experiences, failures, or even encounters with new people.
Prepare a special learning book to note down all the amazing lessons you come across each day! This will not only help you keep track of your consistency but also help improve your writing skills. If you inculcate the habit of learning one new thing everyday, it will definitely help you achieve excellence in your endeavours.
“Legends are Lifelong Learners.”
Find mentors who will train you and help you understand human behaviour in depth. It is said that any business is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics. When you raise your awareness about what drives your customers, you tend to focus more on giving your best and generating profits. If you are serious about scaling your business, make sure you devote time to learn human psychology.
“To influence another human being, you must know what already influences them” – Tony Robbins

“If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done.” ― Thomas Jefferson

UP Boards Topper Prachi Nigam was trolled on social media for her facial hair; our obsession with appearance is harsh on young minds.
Prachi Nigam’s photo has been doing the rounds on social media for the right reasons. Well, scratch that- I wish the above statement were true. This 15-year-old girl should ideally be revelling in her spectacular achievement of scoring a whopping 98.05% and topping her tenth-grade boards. But oddly enough, along with her marks, it’s something else that garners more attention – her facial hair.
While the trolls are driving themselves giddy by mocking this girl who hasn’t even completed her school yet, the ones who are taking her side are going one step ahead – they are sharing her photoshopped pictures, sans the facial hair, looking nothing less than a celebrity with captions saying – “Prachi Nigam, ten years later”.
Doctors have already diagnosed her with PCOD in their comments, based on photographic evidence. While we have names for people shamed for their weight – body shaming, for their skin colour- racism, for their age- age shaming, for being a female- sexism, this category of shaming where one faces criticism for their appearance has no name. With that, it also has zero shame attached to it.
