Menstrual cramps can really be a literal pain for many women. There are, however, a few things you can do to decrease them.
Menstrual cramps are something every woman has to face after she hits puberty. These cramps can be annoying at times, but if severe it can disrupt day-to-day activities.
Cramps cause a dull or a throbbing pain in the lower abdomen, which may radiate onto the lower back and thighs. Some women also start experiencing cramps just before their periods as well.
The severity of menstrual cramps largely depends upon one’s lifestyle hence one should be having a proper balanced meal. Exercising regularly is also very important. Also one must try to avoid smoking, drugs and alcohol.
